This month, I want to personally recognise the incredible Carers and Occupational Therapists (OTs) in the community. As we celebrate National Carers Week (13 to 19 October) and OT Week (21 to 27 October), it's a great reminder of the invaluable role they play. Carers provide essential support and compassion, often behind the scenes, and OTs empower people to regain independence, adapt to their surroundings and achieve their goals.
